Snip Snap Snorum Tutorial

Needed

Four to eight players; 52 card deck; poker chips

Deal

All the cards are dealt out, one card at a time.  Some players will have one more card than other players and that is okay.

Objective

The object of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all your cards to win all the chips in the middle.  Once a card is led into the middle, the other three cards of that rank are called to be played into the middle.  When two consecutive players play into the middle, chips are owed to the middle.

If the first card is matched in turn, the player of the first card is snipped and owes one chip to the middle.  If the second card is matched in turn, the player of the second card is snapped and owes two chips to the middle.  If the third card is matched in turn, the player of the third card is snored and owes three chips to the middle.

Game Play

The player left of the dealer is first to play.  Play moves clockwise left with players having to play a matching card in rank or pass.

If a match is made, the player of the previous card owes chips to the middle.  If a pass is made, the player of the previous card is safe from owing any chips into the middle for that card.

Snipped - The first card of a rank is matched in turn.  The player of first card owes one chip to the middle.

Snapped - The second card of a rank is matched in turn.  The player of the second card owes two chips to the middle.

Snored - The third card of a rank is matched in turn.  The player of the third card owes three chips to the middle.

The player of the fourth card of a card rank gets to make the new lead.

Winning

The first player to play all their cards wins the middle pot of chips.
